THWACK! is a London punk band made up of Charlie Wood (vocals, guitar), Chlo Spinks (bass, vocals), Mal (cello, vocals), Blake Shortt (drums) and Natalia Gruca (violin). They are London’s foremost string-infused punk rock imagineers who have been captivating audiences with their theatrical live shows and killer tracks. Between releasing their ‘bold and thoroughly intoxicating’ debut EP ‘BURIED BUT BLOOMING’, winning multiple band competitions and creating viral music videos – THWACK! have brought their orchestral-genrequeer-originality to an ever-growing list of iconic festivals and venues including Glastonbury, Wilderness, Shambala, Trans Pride and just about every grassroots venue in The capital and beyond.
